Tyrannosaur
Joseph, (Peter Mullan) a man plagued by violence and a rage that is driving him to self- destruction, is spiralling into turmoil.
A chance of redemption appears in the form of Hannah (Olivia Colman), a Christian charity shop worker. Their relationship develops to reveal that Hannah is hiding a secret of her own, a secret with devastating consequences for both of them.
Awards
At the British Academy Film Awards in 2012, Tyrannosaur director Paddy Considine and producer Diarmid Scrimshaw were awarded the prize for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer. The film also won three BIFAs: Best Actress, Best British Independent Film and the Douglas Hickox Award for Best Debut Director.
